Iraq Children

子供は年長者の言うことに耳を貸すのを得意としたことはないが、

年長者の真似をし損なったこともない。

Seven Iraqi children died today.

5 girls and two primary school children.

Is this liberation? Is this freedom? Is this safety or democracy?

Would this happen if the U.S withdrew from the region? It’s hard to say. I believe though, that the ‘insurgents’ are making a point, and the world stage is lapping it up and asking for more.

Since the U.S led occupation thousands of innocent civilians have died.

Far more than at the hands of Saddam Hussein.

I don’t even know what I think anymore. If the U.S leaves now that they thoroughly destabilized the region, who will help these children? The U.S should never have bombed Iraq, but since they did they have some responsibility in restoring order within the region. Will sending 21,000 troops solve the crisis? I doubt it. It will simply fuel the violence.

Violence breeds violence.

And what of Iran? The overtures sound remarkably familiar, even though the U.S states that it Won’t invade Iran.

Isn’t that what they said about Iraq?
